Looking out from the ridge, the sheer scale of the pine forest flattened into the horizon feels almost surreal. My iPhone handled the dynamic range of those distant mountains well, even though the wide angle makes the foreground scrub look like it's reaching for my face. It’s a rad perspective that makes the trail feel like a tiny thread in a massive tapestry.
