Those heavy rays of light hitting the frozen sand felt like something straight out of a sci-fi flick. My iPhone 13 handled the high contrast between that blinding sun and the deep shadows of the pines pretty well. I kept waiting for the mist to clear, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger while it was still thick enough to hold the light.
